Eagle Days 2011

The Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri Department of Conservation and Clay County Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites present Eagle Days 2011.


This is your chance to see live eagles up close and personal. Diane Johnson of Operation Wildlife will present Saturday, Jan. 8 and Sunday, Jan. 9.

Other events include kid's crafts, informational booths and bus trips to eagle viewing stations.

Show Times: Saturday: 9:30, 11:00, 12:30, 2:00 Sunday: 11:00, 12:30, 2:00.

Kids Crafts, Informational Booths
Missouri Department of Conservation, Martha Lafite Nature Sanctuary,
Friends of Lakeside Nature Center, Operation Wildlife, Clay County Parks, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm Sunday 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

Eagle Viewing Stations
Buses leave from the Golf Course Clubhouse to viewing stations every 20-30 minutes.

Other Notes
  • Designated viewing areas for eagles in the wild to be announced.
  • Bring your camera, binoculars, spotting scopes and warm clothes.
  • Refreshments on sale at Paradise Pointe Golf Course Clubhouse.
