Surprise!

Thursday, February 17th, as the Clay County Parks, Recreation & Historic Sites Department gathered for their monthly safety training & luncheon, staff members were met with a pleasant surprise. Bud Deppeler, frequent park visitor, cyclist & sailboat enthusiast paid the staff a visit to thank them for their service & presented a colorful & delicious cake as a token of his appreciation. The staff enjoyed meeting Mr. Deppeler & hearing his positive remarks. His gesture was very much appreciated.
